While there may be similar themes in the work I do, I recognise that every client is different. As an integrative therapist, I adapt my approach to suit your individual needs, rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.
My aim is to offer a space where you feel safe, understood and able to talk openly about whatever you're experiencing.
My therapeutic style is warm, grounded and practical. I believe therapy works best when it feels human, accessible and collaborative, and we will work together at a pace that feels right for you.
Rather than offering advice or telling you what you should do, I'll support you to explore your thoughts and feelings, better understand your experience, and find a way forward that feels right for you.
You can read more about what it's like to work with me below.

When you work with me in therapy, you can expect the following.
A warm, down-to-earth approach
I am grounded and down to earth, and I try to avoid unnecessary "therapy speak" because I don't think it's that helpful. I believe the most meaningful work happens when we can talk honestly, naturally and without feeling like we have to choose the "right" words.
Compassion and empathy
I am here to understand what you're facing and to be alongside you with genuine compassion and empathy. I can stay with whatever you bring into our sessions, including the most painful, traumatic and overwhelming experiences.
Many women worry about crying in therapy or apologise when they do. Please know that, with me, you don't have to. I welcome tears, along with every other emotion. Whether you're tearful, angry, numb or struggling to find the words, whatever you bring, and however you bring it, is welcome.
My aim is to help you feel understood and to carry some of the weight, so you don't have to face it alone.
Gentle, thoughtful challenge
When it feels right, I will gently challenge you during our work together, helping you notice patterns, explore different perspectives and move forward at a pace that feels manageable.
Practical support when needed
Alongside emotional exploration, I can help you make sense of what's happening day to day, offering clarity, perspective and practical ways to navigate difficult moments.
Warmth and occasional humour
Therapy can feel heavy at times, but it doesn't have to feel serious every moment. I bring warmth and, when it feels right, a touch of gentle humour. Sometimes sharing a smile or a laugh together can make difficult conversations feel just a little easier.
If this way of working resonates with you, I'd be very happy to talk more about how I can support you. Please get in touch to arrange a free, no-pressure introductory call.
