Like all of us, I am a mix of things. But in my work as a counsellor and psychotherapist, what matters most is that I’m warm, genuine, down-to-earth, empathetic, supportive, and practical.
I’ve been through a lot in my own life, and at various points, therapy has been invaluable to me. Experiencing its impact first-hand is a big part of what led me to become a therapist. I know how transformative therapy can be, and I wanted to offer that same support to others.
I’ve always had a deep interest in psychology and a desire to do something that helps people. For many years, I wasn’t sure what that would look like. But when I trained as a counsellor and psychotherapist, something clicked. I felt I’d found what I was meant to do.
It’s a privilege to work with each of my clients - to be alongside them as they explore their emotional and psychological worlds, and to support them in working through the issues that bring them to therapy. It’s deeply rewarding work.

I’m a highly qualified integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, committed to ongoing training and professional development. My approach is grounded in both academic rigour and lived experience, and I continue to deepen my practice through regular continuing professional development (CPD) and reflective work.

If you want to know more about me, and my approach as an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, you can learn more here.
Before I became a counsellor and psychotherapist, I spent over 14 years working in the UK and Australia as a qualitative research consultant, specialising in brand, advertising, and strategy development. Qualitative research is all about understanding people’s behaviour and motivations, so even then, my work had a strong psychological thread.
During that time, I worked closely with advertising agencies, marketing teams, and senior leaders in consumer organisations and government departments. The work was fast-paced, with long hours, frequent travel, and intense deadlines. For several years, I ran my own company. Because of this, I deeply understand the pressures faced by people in business, creative, and corporate roles, and how these demands can affect emotional wellbeing.
What I loved most about that work was engaging with people from all walks of life. Just like in therapy, the heart of what I did was about people.
